Praise
God, Praise God. Praise God. Oh what fellowship, oh what joy Devine,
when we lean on the arms of Jesus and experience His Over Flow. We made
our way from Lugazi town yesterday for about an hour out thru the
country. We drove a dirt road thru the small villages, past housing,
past those hauling coal, wood, and other thing on their bicycles, past
children and adults walking to and from. So much to see.
As
we drove the dirt road thru the sugar cane growing areas seeing all the
people and sites we finally made it to our destination. For me it was
Destination Increase. We entered this typical Pole, Metal Roof church
to find it crowded and with men and women of God worshipping and
praising our Savior. We had finally arrived to the Pastors and Lay
conference only to find a whole lot of hungry, eager to hear a fresh
message on God’s Love, His Strength and Power.
I
have chosen to speak at times on the experiences we have in Christ as
it relates to the Spirit. 1. When we are born again, it is like a well
of living water coming in and filling us with God’s Spirit. 2. Then
there is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that is like a river and we
receive that Power and manifestation of His presence. 3. There is the
RAIN experience where the Spirit comes with an Anointing that pushes us
beyond normal limits into the Super. More about this later. This is
very brief.
But
what impressed me about my Spirit Filled, Baptized in the Holy Ghost
friends was the fact that over time we can get soooooo busy and so
preoccupied with what we think is impt or we let things weigh us down
that our Well Level can get low, our River Level can get low and that is
when we need to experience a Good Ole Fashion RAIN of the Holy Ghost
and Power. Causing us to have the Ability to get and see results once
again in our daily lives and ministry.
When
I asked for a show of hands if any of them had ever been there, hands
went up all over. At that point in time it was Mary, the mother of
Jesus, in Luke.
Luke 1:35-38 (AMP)
35 Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God.
36 And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. 38 Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.

Luke 1:38 (KJV)
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Notice
she said yesterday, “BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO THY WORD!” And they
too said the same thing as the Rain began to Fall. Oh at that point we
had ourselves a meeting.
I
first thought that we had about 60-70 people, but as Hudson has written
there were 100+. All seats were filled and we spoke for 2 hours maybe
more.
It
was so refreshing to see the response and the hunger these men and
women have. Many had old Bibles without a cover. They all had their
note pads and they were busy writing and doing their best to retain all
that was being said. We had fun using examples, such Jesus when he
spoke to the tomb of Lazareth, and said, “Come Forth!” I went to
walking like a mummy to jumping and praising God. They understood that
very well. So much fun.
After
the meeting they served Ugandan chicken, pork, rice, beans, sweet
potato and Plantain. It was so good. We were so Blessed. So much
more. I will try and send picture.
On
our way home we saw the same sights of the Uganda country side once
again. God is Good. Well I am off to church and the blessings that
will flow down and upon us this day. Thank you for your prayers and
support.
Shalom,
Stan
