Such Love, Such Wondrous Love….

Christine in Uganda

Praise God for the leading and the guiding of the Holy Spirit and for those that choose to help others so many miles away. The blankets that came to Uganda through the sewing machine of Juanita Mahaffey are so beautiful.

We are all honored and blessed to be part of this great ministry in Lugazi

FROM PASTOR HUDSON . . .

Hi man and woman of God,

As I write all these reports, my eyes always run with tears of joy, because of the great work and support that each one of you has given to all these precious one and us all.

Here is Christine, receiving a special Baby Cover Blanket for her baby, plus an envelope with monetary gift from Queen Debbie.

Thanks to Juanita, Paul and Debbie for taking up this great project that has been a blessing to many kids that are without.

Back to story of Christine . . .

She is a total orphan who was defiled at age 15 yrs.
After the man defiled and made her pregnant,he disappeared and now where to be seen.

She was defiled while staying with one of our Village Pastors.

When the Village Pastor could no longer stay with her, she came to live with an old lady at our church, who also abandoned her, and she found her self in our hands and the hands of the church.

stayed at church until her day of giving birth. When she got into labor pains, she had failed to give birth because of some complications, which led her to be referred to a better Governmental hospital in Jinja a bout 30 Miles East of Lugazi.

Christine gave birth to her baby girl of the 22nd, Dec. 2009, and the birth took place in the Land Cruiser that Stan, Queen and the Moths purchased for Pastor Hudson Suubi, march last year 2009.

She gave birth at 8:30 Pm, while Pastor Hudson, Mercy and one elderly lady in church were rushing Christine to Jinja Hospital to be able to save both her and the baby who was to be born.

The baby was named Miracle.

When Stan and Debbie visited this year in March, they showed Agape love to Christine, blessed her prayerfully, financially and showed her love.

Thanks Stan and Debbie for allowing to be a blessing to this sweet Christine, who was rejected by many, accepted by God, through Jesus, accepted by Hudson and Mercy Suubi, accepted by our church family, and finally accepted by Stan and Debbie.

Continue praying for both Christine and her baby.

Blessings to you all.
Pastor Hudson Suubi.

Well it is official . . .

Tonight I was given, along with Randy, by Pastor Carlos who is the president and owner
of the Colegio Nazareth Seminary, a diploma of recognition as and to Pastor Stan Rogers.
Dated and Certified. Praise God!

Day 4: 3rd and last day of speaking

Just back to the room about ½ hour ago after a very long day to Santa Ana and back. We were very close to the Guatemala border. The meeting today was the biggest while we were here. I have learned that numbers are not as important as hunger, but in the case of this meeting they had both. There was least 60 plus pastors, wives and lay people there to absorb all that Pastor Randy and I had for them in a 7 hour session. Praise God for the desire to learn, to pray, to praise and to come forward for the anointing service. By looking at the web site you can see all the pics that I have been sending through out the day. The church was very nice and the people were very joyful and hungry. Had a great in house lunch once again that has carried us through to now.

The drive there was beautiful. So much agriculture to see. Corn is all over the hill sides along with beans, coffee in the treed areas and rice and corn etc in the lowlands. Some of the pics will show all of that. Our purpose in coming to El Salvador was to minister to the local Pastor’s. Our mission was a success. We have met many dear people while here. So gracious and so beautiful. God moved mightily in the hearts of those that helped as well as those that we ministered to. Our translator Carlos could not say enough about how this time of working with us has changed and energized his life and ministry. This is what these trips are all about Praise God! Well that is all for now. More to show and tell when we get back.

See you all Sunday if not before. I do want to say some things about El Salvador. Of all the foreign countries I have gone to this is truly a beautiful country. The landscape the industriousness of the people, the highways, bridges, streets, buildings and housing is a lot like ours back in the states. Yes there are poor areas, but poverty is not so over whelming. El Salvador has to be listed as 2nd world country if not better. The schools are good, the place is very clean.

People smoke little and I have to say that I did not see one TATTOO this whole trip on anyone. Why is that?? Why is it a form of expression in the USA and down here they are just who they are. Trust me it is not for a lack of money. One other reason the El is so important to the USA is that they are a fordable ally against drugs and piracy. Our US Coast Guard is very active here as well. The economy is strong and the tourist business makes for a very nice place to come. Well that is it for now. Keep Looking Up!

Excellent meeting here in Santa Ana.

As usual we came upon another Nana while away.
Here is a woman 90 years old that God blessed when we were talking to her and giving her some financial goodness.
She was so sweet.

How Sweet He Is . . .

Greetings my friends,

Let me try and condense what has taken place since leaving Monday.

We had a great flight to Dallas with really nice seats. From Dallas to El Salvador we got to move around and had all the room we needed. Upon landing in San Salvador we were greeted by the pastors who are helping put the Reid Saunders Association Festival together. From Portland the translator and interpreter Ruth was with us all the way in. Very sweet and does all of this work to Glorify God.

We Got to our room which is very nice, had a bite to eat and then settled in for the night.

DAY 2: First Speaking Engagement

Our second day was long and exciting day. This was our first speaking engagement. We were to be in San Miguel at 9:00 AM. We left the Hotel by 6:20 and because of a huge 40 foot van truck going off a 85% slope on our side of the road we were delayed for 1.5 hours at least.

Once in Miguel we adjusted our talks and we proceeded to watch how the God, through His Word and the Holy Spirit, began to work in the lives of the people there. It was a blessed time from beginning to end. We had our lunch catered and it was very enjoyable. At the end of each day Pastor Randy said that we are going to ask each person to spend time in prayer and reflect. After praying they were to come up to the front where he first would pray and anoint with oil and then the same for me. Beautiful. When we were done with the individual prayer time we then gathered in a circle and sang Hallelujah and then dismissed. Such a blessing as the men and women were stirred and moved. God is good. After the meeting we began a 3 hour road trip back to the hotel for food and needed rest. Great First Day!!!

DAY 3: In flies a dove.

Our third day was very close to our hotel. 10-15 minutes away. Had McDonald breakfast #2 with coffee and we were ready to go. There were more people here today and we had the full 6 hours between us. Each of us had 3 sessions as the day before, but there was much more time. We praised, we worshiped, we preached, we taught, we had a great home made El Salvador meal and all ate at one table as you can see on the web site. Each session was exciting as we taught on all kinds of subject matter.

During my last session as the Spirit of God was moving amongst us, in the side open door of the church flies a DOVE! I stopped and reference the Holy Spirit the Dove flew around the church. Praise God! These men and women were more expressive at times then the firs day, but both church gatherings had there own flavor. One man had a vision during the morning session where he saw an Angel of God standing by Pastor Randy and a Fountain of Living Water flowing down over him. Let the Power Fall!!! He turned to me and shared that he saw 3 large figures in white standing on my right on the left of Oscar the interpreter and one in the middle while I was speaking. Powerful to say the least.

Speaking of Pastor Oscar, he is wonderful. He is a man that is anointed of God and flows freely and rapid fire with his interpretations. It reminds me of Pastor Hudson Suubi.

Well we are back at the hotel again and I am catching up on emails with the free wireless service down stairs in the lobby. This has been a wonderful trip and we are looking forward to Thursday our final day. We are expecting and believe that God will move in a mighty way both at these meetings as well as the RSA Festival this weekend and through out next week.

I thank Tim and Kelly for the updates that both are doing.

Please enjoy and know that we appreciate your prayerful support and love.

God Bless. Make sure you check out the web site.

What is El Salvador like . . .

All is well here!

We have a nice Nissan van driven by one of the pastors. El Salvador would be considered a 2nd world country.

Very modern, financially strong, main ally in Central America to the USA. Excellent roads and bridges. Good electric grids. Lots of agriculture and coastal activities and resorts. These people really like sushi and the currency here is the American dollar. Pretty awesome.

Nyirabutuyu Teresa

She was born in 1905, from Burenga Village, Nyarujenje County , Kigali district, now the capital city of Rwanda. By that time, Rwanda was still under Belgium colonial rule. Teresa 's parents were Nyandwi and Nakato, they had no second names, because they did not get Baptised.

At 5 yrs of age, Teresa joined a Catholic church at Kigali Seminary, were her self was Baptized and given her the name of Teresa.

Teresa got married in 1925, got her first baby, and her child died after 3 months.
After the death, of her child, Teresa's husband, divorced her, which her to return to her mother, Nakato, and by this time her father was dead.

After some years , Teresa's mother also died, leaving her with a brother, who also disowened her, which led her find her own way to Uganda. So Teresa walked and entered Uganda, to find her own way after she was disowned by her brother.

By this time, she knew of some relatives, who had immigrated from Rwanda to Lugazi, but she did not know where they had exactly settled. It was in 1928, that she came to Uganda tracing her relatives, which relatives she did not find. After not finding the relatives, she instead re- married, both her and this second husband, Started plucking/ harvesting tea, in the tea plantation.

With this second husband, they had two children.

The second husband died in 1972., leaving her with the two sons.

The first son died in 1984, leaving no grand child to Teresa. Her second son died in 1993, leaving her with three grand children, a boy and two girl, who are now women also and having kids.

Teresa is to stay at Ntenga Village, where she is for the rest of her life until the Lord calls her home. She stays in a land that was purchased by her second husband.

In 2006, Teresa accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and person savior, under God's House of Miracles( Ntenga Miracle Centre).

Teresa, after she was prayed for by Stan and Debbie Rogers, feels strong and healed.
She was walking on Clutch, but now free, walking without it. After Stan and Debbie prayed for her in March 2010, all the pains in her bones and back disappeared and she feel good from that very day.

Before, her sight was short sighted, but now she can see, her normal sight was restored.
Nana is so happy and praising God.
