Day 4: 3rd and last day of speaking

Just back to the room about ½ hour ago after a very long day to Santa Ana and back. We were very close to the Guatemala border. The meeting today was the biggest while we were here. I have learned that numbers are not as important as hunger, but in the case of this meeting they had both. There was least 60 plus pastors, wives and lay people there to absorb all that Pastor Randy and I had for them in a 7 hour session. Praise God for the desire to learn, to pray, to praise and to come forward for the anointing service. By looking at the web site you can see all the pics that I have been sending through out the day. The church was very nice and the people were very joyful and hungry. Had a great in house lunch once again that has carried us through to now.

The drive there was beautiful. So much agriculture to see. Corn is all over the hill sides along with beans, coffee in the treed areas and rice and corn etc in the lowlands. Some of the pics will show all of that. Our purpose in coming to El Salvador was to minister to the local Pastor’s. Our mission was a success. We have met many dear people while here. So gracious and so beautiful. God moved mightily in the hearts of those that helped as well as those that we ministered to. Our translator Carlos could not say enough about how this time of working with us has changed and energized his life and ministry. This is what these trips are all about Praise God! Well that is all for now. More to show and tell when we get back.

See you all Sunday if not before. I do want to say some things about El Salvador. Of all the foreign countries I have gone to this is truly a beautiful country. The landscape the industriousness of the people, the highways, bridges, streets, buildings and housing is a lot like ours back in the states. Yes there are poor areas, but poverty is not so over whelming. El Salvador has to be listed as 2nd world country if not better. The schools are good, the place is very clean.

People smoke little and I have to say that I did not see one TATTOO this whole trip on anyone. Why is that?? Why is it a form of expression in the USA and down here they are just who they are. Trust me it is not for a lack of money. One other reason the El is so important to the USA is that they are a fordable ally against drugs and piracy. Our US Coast Guard is very active here as well. The economy is strong and the tourist business makes for a very nice place to come. Well that is it for now. Keep Looking Up!
