Final thoughts . . .

Ok here are some really neat pictures of foods and family.  You can the table is set and the family is gathered for one of Mercy’s traditional Ugandan meals.  Then my omelet breakfast each morning with fresh Mango or Papaya and Pineapple.  Maybe all 3 on a given day.

I’ve included a picture of our 3 girls that we support like granddaughters.  From the left to right is Susan, Gloria and JoAnn.  Also a picture of Ali, Moses and Deborah.  Ali comes each day to work and assist Mercy with chores and Moses and Deborah are like extended family that live there, prepare to further their education and help out.  Isha is also a family member but I have no picture.

My room at the Suubi home was wonderful.  I had my own bedroom and bath.  Notice the bucket and pitcher for showering or bathing.

Just a few shots that I thought you would all enjoy including the young woman at the conference that accepted Jesus as her Savior.  Thank you Jesus.

Goodbye for now . . .

Began once again with my theme verse that I believe and expect what it says to happen even in my own life, when I stand and believe.  From that point on the Anointing took over and the rest was Change for the Kingdom, thru the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Luke 4:18-19 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
This last day was so special we had a pastors conference combined with their wives, the laity, and children that would have thrilled any guest speaker or pastor.  The hunger, the expectancy just flat out drew the Word out of me like a vacuum.  It is hard to explain.

During this meeting we were able to hand out some of the 80 Bibles that the MOTHS had purchased.  Each pastor received 2 Bibles each and the rest are going to all the churches we spoke at while there and to those that were not present to receive theirs at the conference.

The which meal the MOTHS also helped finance, was wonderful.  The women worked so hard to present us with a wonderful meal made up of rice, beef, and water.  Filled to the brim I was ready for the afternoon session.

The praise and worship set things in motion, followed by the introduction by Pastor Suubi and then Word went forth for the last time that I would speak this trip.  The subject matter we spoke about was, “ God’s Anointing and the Ability to get Results.”  This 4 part series also included, “Is there a Giant in your Life?”  Oh did we have some fun that day.  The presence of God was over whelming at times.  The first of 4 dealt with the Well, the River and the Rain.

With all that took place, the highlight of the day was a woman who came forward at the end of the service to receive Jesus as her personal Savior.  I know what you are thinking.  Why would a non-Christian be at a pastors conference?  I don’t know why, but God had a PLAN that day for her.  The neat thing was that I had been given a bottle of water from Christine Gilman that she had just brought back from Jacobs Well in Israel.  The water had great significance as it relates to Salvation and never being thirsty again.  Look no Further Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life….”

John 4:5-15 (AMP)
5 And in doing so, He arrived at a Samaritan town called Sychar, near the tract of land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 And Jacob's well was there. So Jesus, tired as He was from His journey, sat down [to rest] by the well. It was then about the sixth hour (about noon).
7 Presently, when a woman of Samaria came along to draw water, Jesus said to her, Give Me a drink—
8 For His disciples had gone off into the town to buy food—
9 The Samaritan woman said to Him, How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan [and a] woman, for a drink?—For the Jews have nothing to do with the Samaritans—
10 Jesus answered her, If you had only known and had recognized God's gift and Who this is that is saying to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him [instead] and He would have given you living water.
11 She said to Him, Sir, You have nothing to draw with [no drawing bucket] and the well is deep; how then can You provide living water? [Where do You get Your living water?]
12 Are You greater than and superior to our ancestor Jacob, who gave us this well and who used to drink from it himself, and his sons and his cattle also?
13 Jesus answered her, All who drink of this water will be thirsty again.
14 But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life.
15 The woman said to Him, Sir, give me this water, so that I may never get thirsty nor have to come [continually all the way] here to draw.
John 4:21-26 (AMP)
21 Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither [merely] in this mountain nor [merely] in Jerusalem.
22 You [Samaritans] do not know what you are worshiping [you worship what you do not comprehend]. We do know what we are worshiping [we worship what we have knowledge of and understand], for [after all] salvation comes from [among] the Jews.
23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.
24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).
25 The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming, He Who is called the Christ (the Anointed One); and when He arrives, He will tell us everything we need to know and make it clear to us.
26 Jesus said to her, I Who now speak with you am He.
So upon Pastor Hudson leading this woman in a prayer of Salvation and her confessing with her mouth that Jesus is Savior, I took a cap full of this water from Jacobs Well and poured on her forehead.  My, my, my, was this something as a representation of why Jesus was at the well that day.  The Giver of Eternal Life showed up and the Samaritan Woman was made whole just this young woman was on 3-17-2012.  2000 years later, Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

So by the end of that day we had discussed God’s Love, the Word of God and its ability to create Faith, how Faith connects us to the Anointing, and the end result being us doing Righteous Acts.  There is more to all of this, but that gives you some kind of idea.

Well the farewell at the end was tough.  With my arm around Pastor Hudson, I began to weep as I said Good Bye.  This trip will have many memories and Victories.  I truly love the Freedom in which the Spirit of God flows here in Uganda and the people that come with such Expectancy.  The Word goes forth with boldness that the Anointing brings the RESULTS.  God is a Good God, and God NEVER Changes!

Here are some pictures that you might find interesting.  One is of downtown Lugazi a very typical town look.  Shops, open markets etc.  The first picture was taken of me and the Chairman.  He is a devout Muslim man that drove us to every meeting because of issues with Hudson’s Land Cruiser.  He stayed in his car or walked around while all the preaching and praise took place.  Seeds of Faith flying all around him for 8 days.

The boy in the red shirt is Paul.  He is very active at God’s House of Miracles Church and wants to be a Pastor someday.  He especially wanted me to hello and send this picture to our Pastor Randy Butler.  The other young men were always in church as well.  Paul is used in ministry with the children.

The picture of the young man washing is at the senior boys home.  This is how it is done in Uganda.  Everyday, people are doing wash and then iron things once dry.  They work hard.

More summaries and pics to come.  Waiting now in SF, CA for my PDX flight and then home with the Queen to Salem.

The first two pictures are of Pastor Josephine’s Church where we went Thursday afternoon before church Thursday night back in Lugazi.  This Blessed woman of God is a light house in this community.  There were a number of pastors from other areas that attended the service and as usual things start small and grow.  We had a wonderful message of Sowing and Reaping  as it relates to your Faith and the part your mouth plays in all of this.  Blessed.

The last 3 pictures are from Friday evening at Pastor Margaret’s Church.  She is such a beautiful woman of God.  I love the fact that the kids come to church and will sit on those wooden benches for 1.5 hours and barely move as the Word of God is preached.  Tonight we spoke about many things and ended with Luke 1:31-40.

Both of these churches when we first came to Lugazi 5 years ago had tarped roofs.  Today thanks to the MOTHS both of them are covered with metal and there are expanding as well.  see the bricks ready to go into place at Josephine’s Church.

Church on the Hill . . .

Well here we are at the Church on the Hill.  This is where Nana was ministered to by Debi in 2009.  She has since gone to be with Jesus as my mother has who we called Nana.  I spoke earlier in the notes about the woman that walked up hill for over an hour just to come to the afternoon service.  Over a mile plus walk on dirt roads.  Such a blessing.  What I like about this story is how we cannot find time for Church or even Sunday Night Prayer Service, but she will brave the elements of heat, humidity and rain to go to church when the doors are open.

There is a picture of Elder Dennis who owns the land and the large garden acreage playing the drums and then the pastor of the church is on the platform to my right.  The picture you see of praying for this older man was for his healing.  God was good.  I also used his staff in a demonstration of once I was blind, but now I can see.

Love the Church on the Hill and all that you see from above.  God Bless and Good Night.

Green & Beautiful . . .

Praise God for the Lush Green Landscape and Beauty of Uganda.  Here are some pictures from our visit to the Hill Church.  I spoke earlier of the woman dressed in Blue and how she walked over an hour up hill on dirt roads braving the elements of heat, humidity and rain to come church.  Well you will see her in the above pictures.  When we stop and think about her determination and desire to attend and we then make excuses about going Sunday’s, Wednesday’s and to Prayer Meeting on Sunday Nights, I have to say to myself what is wrong with this picture.

Elder Dennis who owns much property on the Hill is playing the drums.  I and Pastor Hudson prayer for a man who was hindered and set free.  I used his walking stick to demonstrate, I once was blind, but now I see.  We had a great service and the reason for that is people come expecting.  When they do, the Spirit of God has the even more Freedom to meet needs and Bless His people.

Sooooooooooooooooooo uplifting . . .

Here are some pictures from Lugazi Homeland College that I shared about earlier.  You will see scenes where the Director is addressing the students and then the Praise and Worship Leader and the children as they raised the roof with song and praise to their King.  Such a wonderful time of fellowship.  It was sooooooooooooooooooo uplifting.

Today I wash . . .

Here are more pictures of the teachers and the students and some of the subject matter that they are learning at a very young age.  Things we take for granted here in the USA they are being taught.  Remember most showers are taken with a bucket and a pitcher.  Most bathing is in a large pan.  These kids were excited and are dedicated to learning.  Praise God for these teachers who are so loving and choose to make their people better.

A Blessings to All . . .

Here are pictures from the Faith Junior School on the property next door to the main church building.  Sister Mercy is a teacher there along with a number of others.  Here are some pictures of Mercy and Pastor Hudson at the school today.  The children were so excited to have a guest from America.  This is a tremendous ministry.  Many of the kids in the neighborhood go to school here for free.  A Blessing to all.
